This is a Black top of the line German A5 Cloth Top that fits the 2004-2009 CLK, which Mercedes classifies as the 209 chassis. This Haartz German A5 was the original material used by Mercedes. It is an acoustically enhanced and is the most durable of all convertible top materials. You will reuse your existing factory window when installing this new convertible top. Fits CLK320 Cabriolet, CLK350 Cabriolet, CLK500 Cabriolet, CLK55 AMG Cabriolet, CLK550 Cabriolet, CLK63 AMG Cabriolet (209 Chassis).

A Very Solid Top
My Mercedes had a tear form in the canvas top several months ago, and I had to have it fixed. The factory process for OEM tops only uses glue to seal the two sections where there's a split, which can lead to the top becoming separated right above the rear windshield. This is something that can happen to many of these cars due to age. Well, this new top makes the car look brand new, feels just like the original, has a rich color, and it's even double stitched where my old top failed, something that I was pleasantly surprised to see. Very happy with my purchase, and the upholstery shop I took it to said that the installation was very easy. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Not to mention that AutoTopsDirect got it to me within days of me ordering it.
