It has sucked up all debris in its path. I read reviews beforehand and I read to run the engine while I vacuum.....I do. It has a long cord to reach to all of my trunk space (I have flip-down seat to access trunk). I got a gray one, not the jazzy orange one (pictured above). Also, the bag I got with mine is a fishnet with a drawstring. Other than the cheaper storage bag, I am happy with my B&D vacuum.
