Good product for the money. Had some trouble during set up but got that figured out.

Set up but it disassembled itself when the motor was turned on. The nuts holding the buffer wheels came off. So I redid the motor so it turned the other way and all was well except the buffing wheels now turned the wrong way throwing material up toward your face. So I redid the motor then disassembled the buffer and turned the armature 180* and reassembled it and mounted it back up and all is well. Whoever put it together at the factory had the armature backwards. Now it works great.

Life changing for a penny pincher

If you're looking for an entry into saving your strength and putting the drill back down, this is the solution. You have to piece it all together yourself, and it's the closest you'll get to the child working conditions of the 1920's with open spinning parts and potential loss of limbs, but damn if it don't shine good when you buy the separately sold wheel and compounds. This item will have you red necking your way into a polished you.

Buffer works like a charm

This is great buffing assembly. I build custom guitars and mandolins and a good buffer is a must. Paired with a 3/4 HP motor this thing really rocks.
