Very nice rod! Matched up with reel purchased at Walmart. Reel will be reviewed later. Caught bass up to 2.5-3 lbs already and rod handles these with ease. Only thing missing was an eye to hook lure or hook. Did not think this was enough to deduct a star. Rod has a soft handle tip to hook lures into. Excellent value.

Great rod/ Great price

This is an excellent rod, at the perfect price. You don't need a two hundred dollar rod to catch the big ones. I would rather show of how much money I can save instead of 'look at my two hundred dollar rod, with sparkle paint',. I can catch just as big of fish or bigger with a nice Shimano FXS spinning rod, I don't need one indorsed by Bill Dance with a high dollar price tag. Not to mention the great service from Wal-Mart.
