Overall it appears to be a good product. It was easy to setup and use. We needed something to help with allergens and odors. The air quality has become worse and we recently painted a room too. It comes with a permanent filter and two prefilters. The regular prefilter is washable but the odor reducing one is not so we also got extras. You have to choose which prefilter to use as it only accepts one. When we first ran it there was definitely a strong odor emitted but after a few days it went away. The noise level is quieter than our older purifier. On 3 I don't hear it much, but at 5 it's noticeable. It's kind of like a soft fan sound. I like that it has rotation and ambient lighting options. It helps with allergies by reducing allergens (dust, dander, etc.) and vocs. It is rather expensive so look for the occasional sales. The one downside, like with all purifiers, is that one unit doesn't necessarily cover a large or open spaced room. It says it can take a large square footage, but as the disclaimer points out in the fine print there is a difference in functionality.
