Evolution Excel 1 HP Continuous Feed Garbage Disposal

This is InSinkerator's best disposal yet. We purchased it to replace an earlier, similar, model that failed unexpectedly due to an odd circumstance: A small, brass screw from one of my wife's kitchen tools wound up going down the drain my mistake. Sadly, it got jammed between the impeller blades and the inside cylinder and could no be removed. The new one, like the previous unit, is very quiet and incorporates all of the company's latest features. It has a 10-year warranty. I cringe a bit when spending over $400 for a disposal! However, this is a very high=quality appliance.

Since the cost and difficulty of installing a disposal is the same for a cheap one or a good one, I opted for the best quality I could find. I paid more than I would have paid for a cheap disposal, but this disposal is solid, heavy, quiet, and will last a long time.
