Built to last.
My classic is over 80 years old and was used by a roofer (my father-in-law) to cut shingles and tar paper. After his passing it along with a square and tape ruler are still in use by me although at 82 my construction projects are mostly bird houses and feeders.

Highly recommend.
I've owned a few of this model knife over the years. I've used them for anything from opening boxes to cutting/scoring drywall to scoring/cutting lead to line medical x-ray rooms. I don't recall ever having a blade slip out unless I accidentally put pressure on the blade release while using it. Having spare blade storage and a quick blade release are great features when you're on the job. No need to stop and take out a screw to split it open to change blades. Blade swapping is fast and easy.
