An odd design, but contemporary nonetheless, it looks good in any corner of the house. For 182 square feet, I decided to use this in my smaller bedroom next to my cat's bed. It isn't too loud to be bothersome to the cat, but it isn't quiet either, especially on the highest setting. The fan settings are Sleep mode, 1, 2, 3, and Auto. At sleep mode, the light is a lot dimmer. You can choose to completely turn off the display light by long pressing one of the buttons on the air purifier, or if you're using the app, you can directly control it through the app. So far, the app is pretty simple. It's mostly like a remote, except you can also connect through the app to Alexa or Google to use voice control over it. It was a pretty simple setup. However, the app itself lacks a scheduling function. Although there's a preset 1h, 2h, 4h, and 8h timer both on the device and in the app, there's no schedules you can add at all through the app. The only way I could do it was to link it to Alexa, then set up Routines through the Alexa app. That works, but man, what a hassle. As for the air purifier itself, it really does a great job. It purifies the smell of my cat's litter in the same room, and I am so glad for that! That being said though, in order to actually be effective, I have to run it on HIGH for 30 minutes to 1 hour several times a day. I feel that Sleep mode, fan 1, and fan 2 are not effective at all. It basically feels like just a sleep machine at those settings to lull you to sleep (which does a great job at). At fan speed 3, I can start breathing better in the room in as little as 20 minutes. The auto mode, which detects the air's quality is pretty spot on. When I'm cooking, if I forget to close the bedroom door, it kicks on. As for the ion feature, I won't ever be able to use it. My spouse has asthma, and the ozone produced by an ion generator exasperates asthma patients. The air purifier is super eco-friendly; at fan speed level 3, it runs at 20 watts only! At speed level 1, it runs at 4-6 watts. As for the filters, I expect it to be replaced around 6-8 months (usual air purifier replacement time), and probably costs around $29-$49 (also, usual air purifier filter replacement costs). Overall, I enjoy this small room air purifier. It is simple to use, eco-friendly, and does a good job. The app, although convenient, is pretty basic. However, it does provide easy linking to Alexa and Google, so that is a huge plus to be able to control this air purifier with my voice.

Finally, you can control it with your app, or through a virtual assistant like Alexa or Hey Google.
