I only trust Tripplite products to protect my valuable electronics and in this case it was a newly installed AC in my small shop. It provides great surge protection, nice cord length, dust caps for unused outlets, and 2 easy ways to hang on a wall. Yes you will pay more but you get quality for the price.

I'm a firm believer in power surge protection and if you've ever lost equipment during electrical storms, you know the value of them. Every outlet in my house is protected by surge protection and I've never lost a piece of equipment, but have had the protectors damaged without further damage.
