What wasn't mentioned in the specifications, is that one burner is 500 watts and the other 1000 watts, totaling 1500 watts. Both sides boiled water easily and yet also were able to keep my soup just simmering. I liked the fact that it is black and doesn't need constant cleaning to look nice. It is lightweight and has a sleek design, but mostly I like the way it cooks. Thank you for a good product!

i tried this thing once and i was remarkably surprised how fast it heated up and boiled water. Faster than a normal stove. You cannot beat this item for the money. i am rebuilding a home and have no stove and cant afford to do anything right now and this little portable cooker is going to be a life saver!
