I just purchased the walnut 42" hood and it looks amazing. It installed within an hour complete with electrical and venting. It was the perfect addition to our summer kitchen. We live our new KB 30 Hood vent . It looks awesome in our newly renovated kitchen that my wife and I did ourselves being I am a residential contractor. The 4 speed fan with a 3 minute timer if you care to use it, is a great feature I love as well. It has two LED lights that swivel that is also a plus being they are located in the rear of the hood. The unit is very easy to install and I added an outlet to plug in the fan motor and is hidden by the vent pipe trim out accessories. The style of the filters , I have to say, is cool looking and they couldn't be an easier to remove and wash. I don't see how anyone would be disappointed in owning this hood vent !

Great quality and price
I just installed the vent in a new kitchen renovation and I (and more importantly, my wife) am very happy with it. The quality is excellent for the price; as good as one costing three times the amount. I would buy it again. One suggestion: On the website, there needs to be a notation of where the electric outlet should be placed to plug in the hood. This, of course, needs to be placed well before the hood is installed. It could be that I missed it but I added an outlet the ended up behind the hood so modifications were required. Even so, I'd still recommend the unit to anyone needing a great vent hood.
