Excellent Bagless Upright Sweeper

Being a subscriber of Consumer Reports and needing a new sweeper, I reviewed and compared the "best" for the money! Shark Rotator Lift Away Professional Bagless Upright Vacuum, NV501 was rated the highest. My previous sweeper was a canister, and everyone in the house knew by the noise that I was sweeping, but not so with the bagless one - just a slight humming. I considered myself a clean housekeeper, until I swept two rooms - one tile and one hardwood with area rug. The canister was filled with 2" of dust balls and hair. The ease of dumping was just a quick release with one click.

This is the best vacuum I have ever used. I have 4 dogs and its the only product I have been able to find to keep up with the hair on my mahogany hardwood floors! The value is amazing, you receive so much in the box including the caddy which is quite pricey on the Shark website. I am convinced now between this vacuum and my Shark floor steamer I am a Shark fan for life!

Nice Vacuum, Bad Shipper

The Shark vacuum arrived in the original box that was heavily damaged and heavily taped to hold everything together. Parts of the vacuum appeared to have been used or were dirty from the badly damaged box being open to the atmosphere. Our vacuum was sold and shipped by Hotwire not Walmart as far as I know so I can not recommend Hotwire as a trustworthy vendor. The Shark vacuum works well and much better than the other aged vacuums we have on hand. i would recommend the vacuum based on our limited use to date.
