I'm so happy with these. They fit really well. I wasn't sure what size to buy as I've recently lost 20#. And honestly, the commenters here are all over the place. "runs big, runs small, just right". I share this info in the hope that it will be helpful. I am 61 years old. I am 5'3" and currently weigh 190#. I carry my weight in my hips, thighs and belly. In the past I would always order XL, I decided to be bold and I ordered the Large. And they fit great! They are not too tight, nor are they hard to put on. They create a slimming effect on the belly without looking like shapewear. And my daughter's comment was "They make your butt look great". I recommend you give 'em a try.
