Fit perfect on Lear camper shell rear door

Getting old ones off was more difficult than installing new. Had to pry the clip out on old ones with a narrow flat head screwdriver. I thought I had to do the same to install new ones, but found out they just push on to the ball. Make sure you install rod down for proper lubrication of shaft. Both were very strong, one held the rear door of my LEAR truck bed camper shell up, by itself.

Fit RV Door perfectly

Replaced a broken strut on my RV door with this. Working great! For the record, RV doors generally want 10-20lbs force ... usually 10 or 15. You can often look on your old strut and see how many ft lbs (or more likely newtons, marked like 040N) and then convert newtons to ft lbs on Google.
