Very soft and quiet. I purchased because the previous replacement pillow i bought was loud and 'crunchy' under my head. With a knit cover, this one is soft and very comfortable.

These pillow s are great for any position sleeper .They are not to soft or to firm .I would recommend these pillows for any room.
