Serta Perfect Sleeper 12" Medium Firm Gel Memory Foam - Queen

As a single guy, I never really gave thought to replacing my mattress. There are so many other things to spend my money on! But when I gave in and switched out the old spring mattress for this new gel foam it was a game changer. Instead of just rolling on to the same old spot every night, this one will form to me each time letting me sleep any way I'd like. There is no way I could go back to a cheap spring mattress again!

My first reaction was "wow this thing is heavy", but what do you expect from a king sized mattress in a box? The mattress arrived quickly and in perfect shape. Cutting the plastic and watching it expand was quite the experience. It took its final shape faster than I expected. It appears to be very well made. The gel memory foam does seem to help me sleep cooler than I have on other mattresses. The mattress is firm and supportive, but has plenty of padding to let this big old gal sleep comfortably. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, quality mattress, this one is worth a try.
