Serta Air Dry Down Alternative Year Round Comforter, Twin

I'd love to say that I'm really enjoying this comforter, but I barely get to use it! As soon as I opened it, it was taken by my son, who likes to lie on it on the floor while he watches TV because it's so fluffy. Then once he got off of it, my dog curled up for a nap, and after a couple hours, my cat was on it, and then my husband stole it and used it on the couch for a quick nap! It has a little weight so I'm actually thinking about using it for my son every night, almost as a weighted blanket, but it doesn't seem too warm. It stays pretty cool. I love the Serta brand. I actually just sold an old mattress and box springs from our guest room because we turned it into a hobby room. That mattress is at least 18+ years old and was still fine. This comforter is no different - very good quality with stitching throughout. It doesn't come with a cover, but if you are using it on your bed as a comforter, it should be fine. As with many comforters, it is washable, but you have to use a large, front loading washer. I just take mine to the laundromat. However, since my pets and family have taken over ours and kept it in the living room for now, I did go on walmart.com to buy a duvet cover. It was only about $15 so worth it for me.

Let me first start off by saying I love white! It just gives me such pure, clean, fresh vibes! However, I come from a pet friendly home! I bet you know what I'm getting at with this! I was scared out of my wits that as soon as I placed this comforter in my pet, the dog and ferrets would be up there and it would look it was dropped in a mud puddle! Much to my surprise, I've had this comforter on my bed just short of a week and I see one or two small, pale grey spots! My dog (long haired and runs outside) sleeps with me and the ferrets are on it regularly and that's it! I haven't washed it yet to see if the spots come out but I'm not sure why they wouldn't? As for the comforter itself, It's made so much nicer than many! The corners aren't flatly sewn together, they actually have some depth! I tried to show it in the picture below! It's nice and fluffy and quilted together nicely so the fill doesn't bunch up! I tend to get warm and sweat when I sleep, but this literally does moisture wick! Maybe I'm imagining but it seems as though I've slept much better since switching to this comforter! Love it!
