These have a very mild sweet taste. I loved them right out of the can! I was surprised at how good a canned bean CAN taste. I've always had to doctor them with my own seasonings. Not these beans. Just had a great taste without adding pork/bacon seasoning or anything! They'd be great in taco soup Southwest rice, rice n beans, bean n cheese, tostado or burrito!
