I recently got this heater and was pleasantly surprised that it only took a few minutes to build. It really helps to lay it across two chairs during assembly, as others have mentioned. We mainly use it on our patio, especially when the fire table doesn't quite reach us while we're rocking in our Adirondack chairs. I appreciate its taller height, which keeps visiting toddlers from grabbing the heated parts. The buttons are also higher up to keep out of reach. The tall design is pretty stable from the weighted bottom is definitely a big plus. My daughter helped me with the installation, as her small hands were perfect for reaching inside to pull out the power cord. The heat output is impressive! On the low setting, it's about 750 watts, and on high, it's 1500 watts. I also got the optional cover, which has been a huge help in keeping the heater clean.
