This was the perfect solution for my mattress that was just a tiny bit too firm. I'm not sure how long it will last, but a great price and very comfortable. It does have a strong smell at first, but much better after a few days. If you have a spare room to put it in, I'd unpack and let it air out there first.

After years of sleeping on a waterbed I change and went with a memory foam mattress that was way too firm, so I bought several toppers that felt like I was sleeping in a dough hole, but this one gives me the comfort I need for my old bones. I did put a topper cover on it that I already had. So yes, I do recommend it to anyone that doesn't like memory foam toppers.
