Good piece to hold a large DVD collection

I probably have close to 500 DVD's and being an apartment dweller, displaying all of them at once can take up a lot of space. This unit holds a good number of my DVD's and I'm tempted to buy another one to hold the rest. It was fairly simple to put together, but the mistake I made was measuring the shelves from the bottom up instead of from the top down. It's not designed to have equal distance shelves to fit all DVD's so there's one shelf that I have to tip the DVD's down versus have them upright. The short shelf is on the top because of the way I measured it for the connector shelf and it wasn't worth tearing it apart to move it.

Great DVD Storage

I purchased this spinner a few days ago, and once I put it together (easy by the way) I love it. I had to take it apart twice because I had the middle supporting shelf in the wrong holes, so I couldn't get as many rows of DVD's in, but once I figured it out, it's great. Just count the holes first before you put it together so you'll know where the middle is...is my best advice. I only wish they had it in a cherry finish, but the espresso is still beautiful.

lightweight and sturdy

I am very pleased with my purchase. The black matches the furniture of bedroom perfectly and its just the right size for the space. Each shelf can accomodate 23 Dvds and with the right spacing you can get 6 shelves per side. It took about 30 minutes to put together fairly easy. Just make sure you put a sheet down because there is a lot of sawdust all over the pieces.
