Really is permanent

We've been using this chalk for a few months now. Working in framing, it's important to have chalk lines that stay through a rain storm. This stuff is it.

Irwin Red Chalk for chalk lines

I have always used red chalk to layout foundations for framing walls etc. but this last 5 lb. Bottle does a great job until it rains or any water gets on it and then it totally disappears it use to stay visible to a certain extent. I did one job multiple times I don't know what haste changed

Absolute Junk

I've bought many big bottles of chalk. Lately I've noticed for some reason the chalk does not stick to the line. I've tried many different types of chalk lines. Different strings and different brands. I usually snap out 1000' plus in a day. Condo framing. On concrete and wood. It works ok for the first few lines then it seems like the line gets plugged up with chalk and won't absorb anymore to snap out a new line. I've tried different chalk lines. Different brands. Different strings. And also different bottles of Irwin chalk. All comes out to the same thing. No visible line even after filling the chalk line full. Was very pro Irwin chalk line and chalk. Something has change. And definitely not for the better. Something needs to be done on their end. At this rate I would have to use 2 new chalk lines everyday.
