About 8 years ago, I bought a carbon monoxide detector that came with these batteries. This week, I walked past it and heard a chirp. I bought these exact same batteries for replacement. They are guaranteed to last 2 years. The old batteries lasted EIGHT. They cost a little more than other alkaline batteries, but they are worth it.
