Capezio Jr. Footlight Character Shoe

I was amazed at the comfort of these shoes! Normally I struggle to get dance shoes large enough to fit me (UK 9-9.5) and they are usually tight, so I wsa pleasantly surprised when I found these to be flexible with movement, comfortable yet supportive too. It was like going on stage in my slippers! This was the only shoe I could find with the heel height I wanted and my size too. The only downside was that the leather's surface scraped very easily when I came downstairs, damaging very easily. I thought they would have been a little more hardwearing.

Because charcater shoes are required, I bought these a little grudgingly for a community show I am in this spring. I didn't want to spend the money and need them for only this one play. But, my friend reminded me that I always need black shoes for choir performances and assured me that they would be comfortable and I would get plenty of use out of them. She was right. They are comfortable and I feel like I am putting on \\\"special shoes\\\" when I wear them. I got the 1 1/2\\\" heel since I typically don't wear heels at all and they are manageable. I purchased a half size up as suggetsed and the fit is just right.
