I had already bought pajamas made in this brand of the same material that were really soft. Because I have a condition where I'm in pain all of the time I try to surround myself with soft thing and pants are expecially important because I have had spinal cord surgery and I have a lot of swelling in my back and pain there as well as on my legs and ankles. This is the most comfortable pair of pants I've been able to find. They are thin and if it is cold I have to wear soft thermals that I got previously underneath them. My grandkids love cuddling up to me when I'm wearing the pajamas are the pants. If somebody's in pain these are definitely a good choice. If somebody is about to undergo surgery it's an excellent choice. The pockets are nice and big but you do have to be careful that the phone doesn't slide out. I'm extremely happy with the purchase because of the fact that lowers my pain.
