You can wear them outside because they look like capris.😊 I order a lot from Walmart because I can't get around like I use to. The sizes are right, so I don't have to second guess. I'm 5 ft. 128 lbs, and these pants are my new favorite piece of clothing. I ordered a small, and they fit great, but have a medium on the way to see if I'd like a looser fit better. They hit me right at the ankle and are high waisted. They're flowy at the bottom, super comfortable, and the oatmeal heather goes with everything. They're perfect for your comfy, neutral looks! I didn't realize they were a heather, my fault for not looking closely, I was assuming they were a solid like the blue and green sets. But I still love them.
