Best Sardines

I'm typically not a fan of sardines; I bought them for my husband who is a fan. Surprisingly, when he opened a can, they didn't have that strong fishy smell I usually try to avoid. This is the first time when he asked me to try some I did, and to my surprise it was very good. I may get more to increase my own intake of Omega 3's!

Season Sardine Fillets

No bones about it. Larger Sardines but that's why they are filleted. Canned in a mild olive oil excellent taste and flavor. Depending on my mood, depends how I eat them. Saltines or Club crackers with a dash of hot sauce or mustard, Delicious

A tad high in sodium, but oh so good!

I like sardines packed in olive oil; I think this enhances their flavor and makes for less fishy-ness. These sardines are absolutely exquisite in my opinion-- sans bones and skin. I like to mash them and add a smallish dollop of mayo and top water crackers with them-- a tasty treat indeed. The only downside is that a 1 can serving is a little high in sodium. So bear this in mind if you have high blood pressure.
