I was not expecting this skirt to be as nice as it is! It is fully lined and has an expensive hand-feel. The silhouette is very flattering, and the length is suitable for work, even with the front slit that allows for easy walking. It is definitely true to size, but if you tend to have a smaller-waist-to-larger-hips ratio you might try sizing down or the waist may be too big. I bought a size 6 and it fits my hips very well, but I need a belt to make the waist more snug.

Such a Great Skirt!

Saw the other review for the fabric of this skirt and I have to say I'm glad I took the chance! I love this fabric and I think that it feels pretty high end! I've gotten a few other suiting pieces from the Scoop line and this is the same fabric as the others - feels smooth to the touch, is comfortable, and I love that they are coming out with other styles in the same so that I can mix and match! Hoping they launch a green version of the blazer so I can wear it with it! I think the length is good (I'm 5' 6") and it fits my curves well (hourglass figure). Was nervous about the slit, too, but it's not too high and I feel covered enough. Would love to see more options added for suits in the future!

Such a Chic Skirt!

Bought this for a friend and she loved! She's shorter than me (about 5' 2", 27 1/2" waist, 38" hip) and we bought a size 6. Could have bought a size 4 for sure, but would have been tighter on the hip, and she wanted to wear more mid-rise. I have the same waist measurement but a bigger hip (41") and would buy a size 8 to fit my hip better. I think that may be what's happening in the other reviews, too. If you're curvier, since this is a straighter skirt, you have to account for the hip, not the waist measurement. My friend is a bit straighter and it fits her perfectly. We also both love the fabric - not sure what the others are seeing, but this fabric is the same as the blazers I've bought from scoop the last year and I love! They must have a really nice tablecloth lol
