Super soft. True to size. I'm 5'3" and the higher waist is perfect...just below belly button. For a short waisted girl, these are great because a lot of high waist styles are way to high on me to be comfortable. If you are between sizes, I would go with your smaller size. Very soft.

I love these shorts! I am 5'7” and I weigh 135. The size 4 fits perfect, not too tight not too loose. I like that they are a bit longer, and I love the fabric. It's softer than normal denim so they are very comfortable to wear.

All I have to Say is WOW...!

As a curvy girl with some thunder thighs, I always order a size up in shorts so that I don't "pudge" out of them in the leg area (hopefully you know what I mean, haha!) But these...THESE...you need these and I don't say that lightly. Not only did I order my normal size 14 (which I almost never do in jean shorts), the jean fabric is thin in the best way possible - meaning it doesn't get all bunchy and make you look bigger than you are. I've been waiting for brands to get the memo of having shorts fit you in the waist while giving that extra slack in the leg area - so you don't have to order a size bigger. Great job Scoop!
