Biotene Oral Balance Alcohol Free Dry Mouth Moisturizing Gel, Unflavored,1.5Oz,For Children & Adults

I started using this after my hygienist suggested a different product because I breathe through my mouth when I sleep which causes extreme dry mouth and was creating sensitivity %26 gum recession issues. I've been using it for about 4.5 months now. I went to get my teeth cleaned and she said “what have you been doing because you barely have any build up especially in the places you normally do?!” I told her it has to be this. I apply this product all around my teeth %26 gum line as directed then wear my clear plastic retainer on top of it while sleeping. I also did a little research and learned that xylitol (one of the ingredients) is known for preventing build up and cavities. Definitely going to continue use since it makes my cleaning appointments more bearable! One tube lasts about a month for me, so it's 100% worth it! I also use this brand's lozenges and mouthwash occasionally during the day.

I use this to help combat the extremely dry mouth I experience overnight and it does help to keep things more humid (along with Xylimelts). I have tried another brand that was flavored and gritty, overall a less pleasant experience so I switched back to Biotene which is smooth and sweet but has no other flavors.
