I am a bed bound Viet Nam vet. Partially pararlyzed, on continuous oxygen therapy, nine cardiac stents, three strokes, blind on left side, 80% blind on right. And many more concerns as well. I needed a TV, one of the few pleasures I can still enjoy, and found I could order one through Wal Mart and actually have it delivered to my home. The product is wonderful. The service is spectacular. This entire process was very easy and very convenient . I gladly recommend the process, the item purchased,and the company providing the service.

perfect for me

It works both as a TV and as a computer monitor for me. It is actually an American company and the first thing they did is send me an email about their customer service if I ever needed it. Also the price was right compared to the competition. I actually had a bad experience with a similar TV/monitor from Changhong where the monitor would randomly just go into a stream of colors. I emailed them and they said that someone would get back to me. From then on my emails went unanswered. I found a support phone number which went to an individual's voice mail which was almost always too full to take a message and none of my messages were answered when I could finally leave a message. I called several independent repair people who said that no parts are available for them to fix it. Keep in mind there are about 3 cards in a TV that fix everything, but none were ever available. So yes, this TV costs a little more but it works and has worked for a long time.

EXCELLENT!

There's so much to like its harder to decide what I don't like. This TV is solid. There are wise choices such as the matte base that I find much more aesthetic from those sets with two feet. I'm not a wall mounter. Besides that the other reviewers are spot on...the color is unbelieveable for its price! I just returned a Samsung 40"er which performed more like a low-brand name so I am sold with Septre and will probably buy another. The sound may need support from a sound bar. I love the small screwdriver included with the base. Very thoughtful for the customer. I can tell Septre provides a good product at an even better price!
