I had to write a review because this exceeded my expectations. The entire frame is metal and very sturdy. i think i could stand on it (although i highly recommend that no one does that) the top shelf feels like solid wood as well. the assembly was super simple and very easy to understand. the drawers are solid fabric which surprised me. i thought the front would be a fake thin type of wood but I'm glad it isn't because then it wont chip. I'll attach pictures of the drawer front. Each drawer fits about 2 kleenex boxes plus an inch. drawers are fabric so they won't hold your workout weights but childs clothing or 1 sweater per drawer would work. or 1 pair of shoes. I'll attach a picture of how many kids clothing fits. 4 jeans and 5 shirts maximum size 5t
