Salsbury Industries Modern Mailbox, Plain Door

MY MAILBOX WAS DELIVERED WITH SCRATCHES. MAY HAVE BEEN RETURNED BY ANOTHER BUYER. MY NEED FOR THE BOX WAS GREATER THAN MY DESIRE TO RETURN IT. THE BOX ITSELF IS HEAVY CAST ALUMINUM WITH A GREEN POWDER COAT FINISH AND A LARGE HEAVY BRASS MAIL SLOT. THE BOTTOM OF THE BOX HAS MULTIPLE CHANNELS THAT WOULD DRAIN ANY WATER THAT GOT INTO THE BOX OUT THE BOTTOM BACK EDGE. MY BOX IS MOUNTED UNDER A 24" OVERHAND AND THE MAIL HAS BEEN DRY EVEN WHEN IT HAS RAINED. I HAD TO LUBRICATE THE LOCK TO MAKE IT WORK SMOOTHLY. 1 DID A LOT OF SEARCHING AND I BELIEVE THIS IS THE BEST MAILBOX THAT IS ALSO A GOOD BUY. IT ALSO HOLDS A LOT OF MAIL, INCLUDING SMALL PACKAGES. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THEY INCLUDED 4 ANCHORS AND SCREWS TO MATCH THE SIZE OF THE 4 MOUNTING HOLES.

Looks great and Walmart has the best price!

Its a bit lighter on the sturdy build and thats why I gave it 4 stars. Other than that, it looks good and will work well in the column on our new fence being built. Price at Walmart was the best I found. 5 stars for Walmart.
