I brought the shorts for my husband to wear to on a trip to Disneyworld. He thought that he would look silly and out of place wearing them. When he got back, he said he was glad he had them because they were comfortable and cool. A lot of other men had similar shorts.

Actually bought for female for summer sleep shorts- loved the look and feel, fit great- nothing bad about them. Pockets can hold a cell phone- even kindle, but elastic waistband does not let it pull the shorts downward. They also have a nice looking drawstring (looks more like they used a black, flat fabric shoe lace, not a cord or string). On my computer the colors are not accurate- I think the actual colors are much nicer- Most of them would look nice with a forest camo tee shirt. I think the dark green looks more dark olive and the reddish brown is more a nice, rich brown, less towards maroon. The 'khaki' is a nice soft tan. They are great for wearing around in the house or outside, even to the store if you wanted, as they look quite nice, but they also feel nice for sleeping in, almost as if not there. They are just as nice after washing. Size chosen from size chart fit as expected -bought XL for a 39 inch waist and they stay up fine but are not at all tight. Men may want to take note that they do not have a fly front or any mesh insert, so maybe not so good for sleep shorts for a man.
