These smoke alarms are very easy to install. they offer the 3M patches or screws, I chose the patches. The price was good at about $9.00 and they are small and compact. I would but again and recommend to others. The siren is very very very loud which is good should anything happens. Overall good product.

The detectors come with their own battery, like most do. They, also, come with two options for affixing to a wall - besides the usual base (for twisting on), there's also magnetic connecters with adhesive on both sides. Will definately purchase these again.
