Pfister LG89-8DFK Nickel Tub & Shower Faucet

While I love the look of this unit...the quality absolutely stinks!!! Prior to even the first year, the paint started chipping off of the parts and the valve that was needed to use the unit was made cheaply of plastic and a piece of it broke off. It hasn't affected the operation of the unit, yet, but for the price I was hoping for quality pieces to be used inside, perhaps metal, instead of plastic!!! Very disappointed!!!!!!

Like some of the other reviewers, i purchased a house that just had the bathroom redone with this model shower kit. This kit barely lasted 5 years, and truth be told barely lasted 3 years. The primary offender is the bath faucet, which has chipped and discolored, and pulled away from the wall - quite an eye sore, and embarrassing if you have guests over. It's incredibly frustrating because these are expensive, and there's some expectation of quality product. I would suggest avoiding this model.
