Universal application.
Product would have worked as slip on connection after sweating off brass insert. Although, changed mind to go with same with diverter for hand shower. Gave high rating because one of the few if any solution for my issue had I gone straight tub spout. Exterior metal with plastic internal parts so care should be used in securing spout.
