WOW it did work beautifully!I. It does exactly what it says it will, i can walk on my new runner with my walker and with this product between my stained carpet and the runner, the runner stays in place. I am very pleased with this product!

It works!
I had purchased a new area rug and decided to leave the previous one under the new one for added padding. Well great idea but the new rug kept creeping off the rug. I decided to try this rug pad. Installation works best if you have a partner. My husband and I put the pad on top of the old rug and rolled the new one on top. It works wonderfully! I have vacuumed and we have walked on it and it stays in place! I would recommend this to anyone who needs to keep a rug in place on top of another.

The area rug I bought to overlay my wall-to-wall had been rolled so tightly that it was still full of ripples and waves two weeks after I put it down. I researched rug pads/sticky pads and based on the majority of reviews, bought this one. It's been perfect. Just be sure you follow other reviewers' tips about peeling off one side of the plastic, putting it on the area rug first, then peeling off the second plastic sheet and laying the area rug on the carpet. Went off without a hitch and we stomped around on it for a few minutes. Rug is now perfectly flat and hasn't moved an inch. YAY!
