This rug didn't disappoint!! The thickness was appropriate, it was a super thick pile but it wasn't super thin either. The manuf6gave you instructions to let it air out and unroll from it taking such a long tight ride in shipping. The strong smell lasted about a week so now it's about 1/4 left, dont know how I measured smell in a fraction, but let's just say that it's almost gone now. I did feel some sort of strangeness under my feet from walking back and forth on it bare foot but I've felt that before when I would put down carpet freshener and didnt vaccum it up before I walked on it. But over all a good rug. One side not because it is a light pink shag, depending on how the fibers were going it did make the rug lighter and darker but that was part of its charm to me.

Love it!

I love this pink rug! I recently gave my daughter big girl dresser set in her room and this pink rug accents everything so nicely! Its also incredibly soft and my daughter loves playing on it or even just laying down and watching tv. Great piece!

I purchased the ivory rug. I unrolled it and it looked nice but when I vacuumed it there were long brown lines and brown patches everywhere. The yarn is skimpy and the backing is brown. Not sure why you would add ivory yarn to a brown backing. I will be returning.
