Love love love this rug. It lays flat almost immediately and is comfortable and plush. I have it on hardwood with light gray furniture, and it looks and feels great. No padding needed! FYI: This rug (and many others) are also sold online at the *O* store, but buy it from Walmart where its easy to return if you don't like it.
