Classic navy, soft, thick, long-wearing, excellent

Classic navy, also classic complementary colors. And it's necessary to use that adjective again, “classic”, about the rug's mid-size trellis pattern that goes with everything. The pattern is well-done, but, also at the same time, NOT overwhelmingly edgy or sharply contrasted. The fact that these carpets are also thick, solid, weighty, all-wool, makes this Safavieh Heritage rug a total winner. Walking it is a sensation of softness and depth. Love this look for the our first floor hallways near our stair. Would be great in living room, family room, dining room, study. The classic colorway and pattern is not something one can find so readily these days. And the navy wool makes it likely they will hide stains and dirt for a long, long time.
