I wanted a pretty bench for in front of my courtyard as a resting spot during gardening, or just to admire my handiwork! I bought another kind from another retailer online, and was so excited when it arrived. The excitement turned into dread when I discovered missing parts, some paint chipped, then mis-aligned holes so I couldn't assemble it even if I went to the local home improvement store to replace the lost parts. So frustrating! I had seen this bench and really liked it before, so decided I'd chance it. So glad I did because it is not only beautiful, but was a cinch to assemble, having some parts already attached to the bench to begin with, and everything lining up perfectly! Love the antique-y look of it--I plan to leave it outside in the elements, so even if it rusts a bit, it'll just get a little more pretty, in my mind! It's also sturdy and with a couple of my own cushions, a pleasure to sit on.
