SABRE 2-in-1 Personal Alarm with LED Light and Snap Hook, 130dB, White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a small, unobtrusive device that is perfect to clip on to an armband, pocket, backpack strap and other similar items. You can also slip it into your pocket. It's about the same size as most key fobs. The clip is pretty strong. To test it, I clipped it to the end of my sleeve {long sleeved shirt} and did a bit of yard work involving a bush-axe. Stayed in place the whole time. The alarm will definitely grab attention. The accompanying literature says that it is 120 decibels and can be heard 600 feet away. I set it off and placed it on a chair in my yard and walked to a spot about that distance away from it and could hear it still though admittedly I live in a rural area and thus have less noise in general than that of an urban area. The flashing light feature is useful to help others see you in low light conditions .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went hiking last weekend and I was so happy to have this as I did some of it alone. When a firearm isn't available for use, this & some person pepper spray is the next best thing. I'm glad I could feel safe with my alarm!
