Great cheap for multi-purpose use.

Bought it as an athletic trouser belt I believe I ordered a 42", not 54" because my waist is 37" Not a big deal though since it's fully adjustable, so if I put it on upside down I can just tuck the extra 17"s of belt along what then will be the inside of the belt. Which is the way the belt should be designed to begin with since that extra length of belt would reinforce the cinch and make sizing universal. The D Rings are much better than those old garbage brass roller lock buckles for sure. These rings are either iron or steel with what looks to be a satin stainless finish. Could be fake, a baked on coating or it could be a legitimate forge, but I'm not going to grind away at it to see. The point is they put some real quality into constructing this, it will last within reason. I'm sure the rings will be near perfect condition once the webbing is shot, because the webbing will be worn before that buckle anyway. Also could be very handy for utility if necessary, band and cinch the belt around whatever may need to be bundled then use the remaining belt as an over the shoulder carry handle or a drag line. That's if you have a long belt like I do. May also function as a makeshift tourniquet during an emergency since the rings cinch the webbing so tight it would take a lot of opposing pressure to pull the webbing apart. Only complaint I have (which is NOT the fault of an vendor) it looks like the cinching would be even tighter and look more natural like a pants belt buckle if the rings were box rings hinged together, not D rings. That way they would mirror each other perfectly :) Minor design flaw. I really should have been an engineer :D

Baggy pants no more.

buckles are small and don't cut into my husband's stomach. they are strong and sturdy made . last forever.
