Chef Boyardee Mini Spaghetti Rings and Meatballs in Tomato Sauce, Ready-to-Eat Meal, 15 oz. Can

easy to fix, good value and taste

This is the seventh installment of my ongoing Chef Boyardee product taste test series. That being said, I was very pleasantly surprised by this item. I fully expected it to taste identical to other canned spaghetti ring and meatball products on the market - but this one exceeded expectations. The first thing I noticed about this product was that the sauce in the can itself was thick, rich, and not watery at all. The next thing that I noticed, was the generous portion meatballs in the serving. There were 15+ meatballs in the bowl, and some of them were twice as large (seemingly two meatballs fused together in the cooking process) which guaranteed at least one meatball per bite. The sauce is much less sweet and acrid as other canned spaghetti products and is very savory and pleasant with only a *hint* of sweetness. This product was comforting and pleasant to eat - it did not feel like a canned pasta product, it felt like a nice warm satisfactory meal.
