[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I initially got the “WOW Wings” mascara I thought the design was quite neat and comfortable to hold. I have never used a mascara that has different sized applicators on each side so initially I was just using it on one side of the applicator. I think the name of the product didn't really make it clear to me what it was meant to achieve and then after a few times of using it I noticed the writing on the mascara that explains how to use the applicator. As this merged with all the other tiny writing on the mascara, the instructions didn't stand out. So before buying this product I would have liked to have known what it was going change and how this was going to be achieved. It's really important to know how to use the product first and this wasn't made clear to me. When using the winged side of the applicator it was a little awkward to use due to the shape of the brush and had to be applied a few times. You then are directed to turn the brush to the curved side to lengthen and curve your lashes. I found that by having to reapply the mascara again made it too much mascara on my lashes, as by this time I had already needed to apply 3 times using the winged side of the applicator. This created a clumpy look on my lashes which seemed to be a problem throughout when using the mascara. My lashes would clump together which became difficult to alter using the applicator. I think the mascara did curve my lashes quite well and made them look bigger but sometimes they just didn't look right and made them look like spiders lashes. Even when working quickly with the mascara it just clumped. I found that I needed to do quite a bit of work trying to separate my lashes from one another using the applicator which was frustrating as I did think it gave a curved look to my lashes. If anything they looked a bit too curved for me. Another dissapointing factor is that it just didn't last very long at all. My lashes didn't look very curved anymore after a short while and by the end of the day there was hardly any mascara left on my lashes. This is a concern as I would not expect to have to constantly reapply my mascara throughout the day. So all in all, not very “WOW”.
