Microwave: in a round 2-quart microwaveable glass casserole dish,combine rice-vermicelli mix And 2 tablespoons Of margarine, butter orspread with no trans fat. Microwave uncovered at high 1 minute. Stir.Microwave at high 1 To 2 more minute(s) or until pasta is golden brown.Remove dish From microwave And allow To cool for 1 minute. Caution: dishwill be hot. Slowly stir in 2 2/3 cups water And special seasoning.Cover And microwave at high 17 To 20 minutes or until rice is tender.Let stand 3 To 5 minutes before serving. Range top: in a large skillet,combine rice-pasta mix And 2 tablespoons Of margarine, butter or spreadwith no trans fat. Saute over medium heat until rice mixture is goldenbrown, stirring frequently. Slowly stir in 2 1/4 cups water And specialseasonings; bring To boil. Cover And reduce heat To low. Simmer 15 To 20minutes or until rice is tender. Let stand 3 minutes.

I recommend any of Rice-A-Roni's box rice… This particular one is so good with any Mexican meal that you prepare… I personally like to have this with my tacos, or when I make chicken and chorizo… Either way it has a very good flavor and I will always buy Rice-A-Roni

I like it to make stuffed bell pepper or as a side for tacos or tamales. I add a little extra salsa for seasoning as a substitute for the added water. Adds a zesty flavor to the rice. Priced is reasonable. Easy to prepare.
