Ribbon Traditions Narrow Farmhouse Stripes Burlap Wired Ribbon 2 1/2" By 25 Yards - Red / Off-White

I LOVE this ribbon! It has a slight hint of glitter in the black stripes. I use this in my Etsy shop to fulfill customer orders. I allow the customer to choose the ribbon and bow type for their door hanger when ordering. At least 50% of the time they choose a bow made with this ribbon (with at least 16 to choose from). It is quite pricey in comparison to some of the other wired ribbons I work with but it is beautiful and my customers gravitate to it. I order most of my other supplies from amazon. Unfortunately the vendor charges for shipping there too (even though I have Prime) and it's just a little bit cheaper to get it here ($1-2) I've looked for a cheaper replacement but even though there are SIMILAR striped ribbons out there, I really don't think I'll be close to satisfied with them after using this for almost 2 years. This is nice and thick, almost like a burlap but a little more plasticky if that makes sense. I didn't think I would like the 'glitter' effect of it but I really do. This feedback is also coming from the 300 people who have ordered bows made with this particular ribbon, not just me. I have never had a customer complain or have anything negative to say about it. With that being said, I'll continue to order this ribbon but I may have to raise my prices on the bows that have it so I can.

This item is not as described or pictured. It actually has metallic silver threads running through it which isn't at all flattering with the stripes. Not very "farmhouse" as in the title and description. I'm returning it.
