Never lets me down
I've owned one for about ten years and recently added a second to my collection. It doesn't seem as heavy duty as the fatmax line, but I'm a DIY'er and they've done well for me. Even dropped the old one off my ladder a few times and it works like a champ. Also like having the lever lock and metrics on it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Tape Markings Disappear
I am a mid-seventies do-it-yourselfer. I usually have half a dozen tape measures. When a self-locking one wore out about two years ago I bought Stanley LeverLock 8m/26' STHT30824. Within a year of very light use, I noticed I was pulling out the tape 2 ft just to get a mark. The print on the tape rubbed off especially at the edges where it is most critical. The case is well made.
