McCormick Kosher Ground Nutmeg, 1.1 oz Bottle

So I am very picky about buying spices and it actually mostly comes down to the packaging. This product in the 1.1oz size did not disappoint as it had an excellent, tight fitting seal that was easy to open, and the ability to both sprinkle or scoop (just lift the tab). No annoying twist mechanism, no mess and no lid rolling away. A little goes a long way with nutmeg so I appreciated this small size as I don't want to keep this too long before getting a fresh bottle. I made a savory and a sweet once I got this - both turned out nicely. Definitely recommend using nutmeg in chicken pot pie, this plus garlic powder were the only spices other than salt and pepper and my family devoured it and asked for seconds. I also made pumpkin energy balls as snacks for my baby. She immediately decided she loved them and reached out for more.

I received McCormick Ground Nutmeg as a free sample and I have to say, McCormick never seems to disappoint. Nutmeg is a pantry staple with warm and nutty flavors. I've used many different brands and this is my absolute favorite. It's fresh and aromatic, just how I like it. A little goes a looong way! Happy with another addition to my McCormick spice collection.
